Happy early St. Patrick's Day! My hometown of Savannah has hosted a St. Patrick's Day parade for two centuries, and in celebration of their 200th parade this year, they will be dyeing all the fountain water green as always, and creating a street marker to commemorate the parade for future generations.
That got me thinking - y'all know I have had a love affair with green for decades now. I'm seeing so much good green out there in the wild recently, so I thought I'd highlight some great home decor and furniture in my favorite natural hues of green!
Table Lamp | Accent Chair | Pillow | Jar | Le Creuset Pan | Storage Bin
Green is classic, timeless, and something I've seen people embrace more so across the ocean for a long time, especially in the whole of the United Kingdom. The Emerald Isle is there after all, and if you know me in real life you know I'm an Anglophile through and thought...I don't know why but I truly love everything English.
Green is back!
Green has made it into every category these days - clothing, tile, home decor, handbags, cars, you name it! You'll see all the green I have in my closet capsule in this post, and I'm a proud new green car owner as of last year, so I definitely walk the walk! My iPhone case, plenty of crossbody bags, and paint choices over the years have shown me how much variation of greens there are out there!
Paint always seems like such a commitment, but it really is the easiest thing to change about a room to make it feel completely different. I dive into the the soft and bold options you can choose with this natural color in this post. If paint is too much to commit to, consider just a touch like this gorgeous velvet accent pillow in our Humble Whole House Living Room. We used just one among a backdrop of other throw pillows on a pair of super long sofas and it was the perfect punch of color to pull the whole room together.
Are you a neutral green person or a bold green person or do you even agree that green is back? I'd love to know!
